Some days we feel lonely and depressed because the fact of the matter is that we are alone sometimes. Believe me, I had plenty of lonely V-day’s. I was ALWAYS the girl getting dumped before I met Billy and I spent many nights crying because I felt so alone. Heck, I had a boyfriend that was cheating on me for 2 months before I found out. It take’s going through a million losers before you find the good ones:)
Remember that valentines day isn’t just about having a bf/gf/wife/husband etc. It is about celebrating love and the blogging community is one of the most loving groups of people I have ever associated with.
So, I guess what I am trying to say is that if you are having a hard day today and you feel alone…will you email me? I am here for you and I would love to be email pen pals. We can be valentines K?!?! I will even send you some chocolate’s if you give me your address (sorry if that sounds creepy)!! ———————————————————————– Time for a winner!!!! Great post! I am enjoying my single days. I bought myself a bottle of wine and some chocolate covered strawberries. I plan to curl up on the couch, watch the Bachelor, and enjoy wine and strawberries all by my self!

What a sweet post! My sweet mommy got me my favorite triple chocolate toffees from our candy store here in town so you can bet I had a few of those today! I did decorate this year but only because I have 2 little boys that love decorations. They were so excited for Valentine's Day when they woke up and saw all the decorations:). I just went to the Dollar store and got some cute stuff and decorated our kitchen area. Have fun running!
Even though I didn't win I still love this. Such cute kiddos! I had a good healthy ammount of candy. I think that YOU of all people can appriciate that! I have a christmas tree… And that's it… As far as Chick flick's go- you can never go wrong with a classic like Dirty Dancing- or something new like Twilight (oh no!) Happy Valentines Day!

I just wrote a post about this the other day. I may not have a man in my life right now, but it doesn't mean that I can't have a day full of friends, smiles, miles and chocolate!
And I'm not as big of a fan of chick flicks as I am of chick lits. I love curling up with a good cheesy, corny, sappy, romantic book. I feel all cozy and warm inside :)
Finding your blog was, without a doubt, the highlight of my day. To the point where I cried a little bit. … I wish I was kidding.
Me = ex-fat-kid turned eating-disordered-university-student turned fitness-freak turned marathon-runner (only once, so far, but you've made me want to do it again!), turned… something.
Something/someone who is slowly learning to exercise for fun (egads!) and accept that food owns my soul. And that both these things are A-OK!
You've also reignited my secret, long-time-lurking desire to be a teacher… uh oh.

Ah Jack Johnson…we had so many of his songs at our wedding. I love Ben Harper's Forever too! I love the movie Knotting HIll, Love Actually…oh, I'm not thinking of the others. We had some really yummy fondue and the dessert was to die for. I thought of you actually as I was dipping my strawberry into this cheesecake fondue. Do you like cheesecake actually? Can't remember your other question..darn…okay, sheesh, took a few minutes to scroll all the way up there…yes, kind of but our decorations are very 5, 3 and 1 year old like. :)

My favourite chick flick…I suppose Notebook. And the funny thing is that there is a couple, friends of my grandfather who had a similar story. The man had Alzheimer and his wife wrote everything in a notebook and was reading it to him. He died in January and his wife 'followed' him one month later. Although I knew the story I never thought it was really romantic until I saw the movie. So life has great love affairs, we just not notice them sometimes.

I have been eating Valentine's candy for two weeks now! I should send the rest to you. And yes, I decorate the house…out of control table setting this year for Valentine's day for my daughters- the baby didn't notice, but the older one loved it!
I would love to be pen pals with you! My Valentines Day was a bit lonely, but my students bought me a million boxes of sweet tarts so that cheered me up. Being alone isn't always a bad thing. It just hurts a little during the holidays.

I don't decorate for all of the holidays (mostly just Thanksgiving and Christmas) but I DO always buy the holiday m&ms and put them in bowls around my house. I say I'm being festive but my bf says its just another way for me to eat m&ms. He might be right.
I have a treadmill/vibram Q! :) (not totally unrelated) Do you run on your treadmill in your five fingers? and did you find that when you were getting used to your five fingers they hurt your heels at all?
