About Me
Welcome to hungry runner girl! Things have changed a little bit recently and I am expecting a baby on August 24th! We couldn’t be more excited about this and I can’t wait to share my running/food/family experiences with you while I am pregnant!
I am a Foodie. My favorite foods include any type of fruit or vegetable, candy of any shape or size, cereal, salmon, sandwiches, Café Rio, Ice Cream and I could probably go on for an hour.
I am addicted to running and it’s a good thing because I really love food. I have been running since I was twelve when my Mom made me go with my older sister because she wanted to go at night….I protected her. I really got into running in college while trying to get over disordered eating habits. It worked. I knew that I wanted to fuel my body properly in order to be able to run and live my life. I got into racing when I met Billy, he saw my potential and encouraged me to train.
I love racing and I have some huge goals to accomplish in the future. I will get that sub 3 hour marathon.
I absolutely love my job. I teach High School Health, Drivers Ed, P.E., Civics and coach the cross-country and track team.
I also teach spin at the Gold’s Gym in our area.
Cooking is my idea of therapy and baking is even better.
I come from a family of five kids and I now have twelve nieces and nephews. I hang out with my parents all of the time…probably too much for a 26 year old.
I hope you enjoy my blog and I guess if you don’t that’s okay too. Just don’t get frustrated with all of my grammatical errors.
