Let’s be honest, the only meal that I know how to make for a bigger group is a salad bar.
It is always a crowd pleaser and everyone can pick and choose what they want on their plate.
I was a happy camper.

For dessert we had cookies, rice krispy treats and my sister’s #1 pregnancy craving—> Oreo milkshakes.

Afterwards we went and watched The Bachelor at a friend’s house. Megan was laughing so hard that she could barely breathe. PS I just bring a pack n’ play around with me for when I go to friend’s houses late so that Brooke can sleep. Works out real well.

I would die if I saw Will at a race! That would be beyond awesome! In high school I worked at an ice cream shop and made myself oreo and cookie dough milkshakes. With the cookie dough, the dough part wouldn’t fit through the straw so you’d scoop it all out at the end. That was probably the best :) My kids are not happy when presents aren’t for them either!

My favorite race of all time has to be the New Jersey Marathon. I ran it in 2013 and 2014 but 2014 was the amazing year that everything went so perfect. I finished in 4:38 and never hit the wall. The year before i finished in 4:48 so i shaved 10 minute off. I saw family along the course too. Yeah, it was one of those days where I smiled the entire time. I’ve been plagued with injuries ever since so it’s the last amazing race i’ve had.

Oreo milkshakes are so good! They’re probably my favorite along with just plain chocolate.
So far I’ve only run local races where I live, although the Valparaiso Half Marathon was a great small race with a flat and fast course! I have my eye on Indianapolis Monumental, Boston, and anything in Seattle.

Favorite race-such a tough question! I loved (not at the time) my first 10k at age 10. I met a nice couple who taught me how to run 2 min walk 1 minute towards the end. The shirt was super ugly, but now it would be all cool/hip retro. My other fave race would be Ironman Canada, as it was my first IM and the first time I’d run a marathon. For awhile that marathon time was a PR ;)
Milkshakes. Being that those are not prevalent here I don’t get that many :( BUT, I do think oreo (which I just now remember I bought a little cup of oreo ice cream at the store last night and FORGOT to have it! Who forgets that?!) followed by chocolate. Or strawberry.
I’m glad Will Ferrell doesn’t go streaking at races.

My favorite race was the Richmond Marathon that I ran this past year. They gave out fleece blankets at the finish and it was a super pretty course (and my pr). My husband and I both ran it and made a date weekend of it :).

I’m pregnant! And it’s not so fun the second time around. I’m bigger and more uncomfortable. It’s a lot harder to keep running too. I hurt more and I’m exhausted from chasing a two year old around all day. I still do my best but my runs are short and slow but I guess it’s better than nothing. I’m due May 17th but the first was early and this one (another girl!) is measuring a lot bigger. I wouldn’t be surprised if she arrives in April.

My aunt told me this Christmas that I would get very upset on my sisters’ birthdays because the presents were not for me…so some family members started getting me presents on my sisters’ birthdays. It has never occurred to me until now that it wasn’t normal to get presents on other people’s birthdays! haha!

I am pregnant and due May 29th! Hopefully a little early since my husband has school off in May. Right now he is in dental school so I don’t see much of him. I found out last week that you know Chelsea Geer! I live right by her and we are in the same ward.
I did watch The Bachelor this week and think Chris is a great guy but seems so quiet! I can’t read him at all and have no idea what type of girl he likes.

Oh my gosh! EVERYONE I know is pregnant! There are 4 girls at work and two of my friends right now, and everyone is due between the end of April and the 1st of August. On top of that, all of my mommy friends have serious cases of baby fever! I’m only drinking bottled water for now… just to be safe.

It’s so hard to pick a favorite race. I loved the Denver marathon because it was my first Boston qualifier, and I loved Boston because it was so exciting be there, but my last marathon was pretty amazing…can’t beat the French countryside for scenery…and I love the Canyonlands half. What a beautiful course!

I teach in an elementary school, so it seems like there’s always someone who’s pregnant! We have a young little teacher on our grade level who’s expecting in late May/early June, so we’re planning her shower right now. I love the idea of a salad bar. We may steal that one!

I did a one mile fun run when I was really little…maybe 4 or 5. I remember having my dad carry me part of the way so we could beat my mom. When she was getting ready to enter the finishing chute there was a guy yelling at her to hurry up and come on, move it…all by name….I guess they worked together! It was a lot of fun and I don’t know if I will ever forget it.

For small, potluck, run in the mountains while the leaves are changing? You cannot beat the Autumn Color Run in Leadville, Colorado. It’s a half marathon. My favorite every year.

My favorite race is a fun race I do every year just before Christmas in Orlando called the Reindeer Run. Some people dress up in various Christmas costumes and during the run there’s Christmas music playing and artificial snow that falls on top of you. The race takes place at SeaWorld and it’s completely decked out in Christmas decor, it’s so festive and pretty!

24 weeks preggo and running/training is actually feeling great ( knock on wood). Favorite race is an annual one I do out here in Canada ( Fairmont, BC to be exact) Loop the lake half marathon. Crossing my fingers I am ready and able to do it this year. Baby due end of May, race is Aug 7th.

My favorite race was the Fall Foliage Half Marathon in Rhinebeck, NY last year. It’s my favorite because I PRed, and because both my mom and boyfriend were there :)

I just decided to run the Nashville Half Marathon in April… so I am gonna start training tomorrow! Oh yeah. I have been putting it off for a little bit and now I have a reason to prepare! Super excited!

My favorite race is the Franklin half marathon in Leipers Fork, Tennessee. It is hot and hilly (June in the South) but I have ran it every year since it started (in it’s 3rd year now) and I think it is gorgeous. Running by horses, farms, wild turkey, country music stars property………….so much fun.

My favorite race I ever did was the Hartford Half Marathon. It was my first in 2013 and so it was the most special.
