Seattle Silent Saturday!

Here’s how my day went (almost silent but not quite).

Of course the first thing I did when I got to Seattle was go to Top Pot for donuts.  Would you expect anything else?  I have taken it upon myself to find the world’s best apple fritter and this one ranks pretty darn high up on my list.

I live in Seattle! I’ll be totally honest though…I’m not a fan. It does rain as much as they say and that just makes my palm-tree-and-sun-loving-heart hurt. However, I see that you made it to the BEST sandwich place EVER. I hope you had the turkey bacon avocado. Homegrown has the beeessstt TBA sandwich. For real. Enjoy your time here and good luck!!!!

I love Seattle and I am envious that you get to go for that race… which is definitely on my list of want to dos. Unfortunately it’s not likely to happen as long as I work the job I do now because it falls in our black out time…. Meaning no time off. Have a great time and enjoy the city. I can’t wait to hear the recap.

There’s a donut shop right by my house/high school called Tony’s and everyone in the area knows it’s the best place to get some donuts. But my best friend said her grandfather was trying to find the best apple fritter in St. Louis and not only do they have the best apple fritters!

Reply

I meant to say not only to they have the best donuts, but they have the best apple fritters! Hit “submit” too soon.

Love the fitting rooms….and I love photos with friends that all have different running sneakers on…it’s like heaven in a picture with all the colors and styles…okay…that formally made me a running geek!

If someone can take you north to Mill Creek – there is a donut shop called Frost – amazing donuts & great fritters. In my opinion better than Top Pot. Gorgeous day today, hope you enjoy your race day!!

Love the ‘fitting rooms’. My Saturday was pretty great. Up WAY early, full of energy (this happens to me like, twice a year). Husband’s day off, yay. Gym early, miles faster than usual whaaat?! BACON. Shopping for my little guy, read lots in my book, got a genuine handwritten letter in the mail whaaat?! Game of Thrones on tv, nap, lots and lots of chocolate. A very good day indeed!

Do you like cake style donuts? If you do, you need to go to Mighty-Oh before you leave! Best. Donuts. Ever.

Gas works park! I live right by there and run through on pretty much all my runs, such a pretty view.

Hope you enjoy your time I’m Seattle.

If you liked Top Pot you MUST go to Mighty-O Donuts, rated BEST donuts in Seattle and hands down my favorite. OH and they are organic and vegan, making them even more intriguing. You must..MUST! Near Greenlake…meaning you eat and then get to walk the legit gorgeous lake. Just sayin…
