Double Digit Miles, it is really good to see you again.

Blogging from the good ol’ cell phone…
Main points from yesterday = double digit run with friends (aka heaven), shorts running weather (also heavenly), we made it to Arizona, I ate delicious dessert (like I do everyday) and we ended the night with high speed go-karts. The weekend is off to an excellent start.

That is so exciting and congrats! I am happy for you and that running is going well again. I know that is the best feeling.

Go Karts…I used to live close to an indoor gokart track when I was younger and had the best times…until I crashed into a tire wall. (No real harm done though).

Oh my goodness I cannot wait for spring running weather! It makes a world of a difference in my running motivation. I still get out there in the winter but it is those beautiful running weather days that are so inspiring and enjoyable!

And WOW that dessert looks incredible. Have a great day too!!! I got in a 6 mile run this morning. One week until the Rock ‘n’ Roll DC Half Marathon!! :)

Running with friends really is heaven! I had four friend runs in a row this week – the BEST!

I just had the best long run! I wasn’t super fast, but running with a friend made it fly by! And, were both pretty warm! I ended up tying my coat around my waist and finishing the last four miles in short sleeves…win!:)
Enjoy Arizona!!

Yesterday it was a gorgeous 46* here and it felt like the perfect running weather and I was so jealous that I couldn’t run in it due to my knees hurting. Today the weather is back to the 20’s and snowing :( I’m so sick of winter I would just like some nice weather.

The doctor is going to try some injections in my knees to help lubricate the joint and it will have anti-inflammatories in it so hopefully that helps them to feel better. But I decided today that I didn’t care if my knees hurt I’m just going to run anyway so I did 3 glorious miles on the treadmill. My knees didn’t hurt any more than usual so maybe I’ll just start running again and deal with the pain.

SO jealous of your running weather! Today I had to take my gloves off… that’s a start right? I had a 7 mile run and all miles were under 9 minutes. Woohoo!

I’m sorry if I end up posting a comment twice! Something happened with my internet as I posted last time!

But I love your runnings pictures. The mountains in Utah and Arizona look amazing! And I’m totally jealous. Texas is so flat and even the Hill Country just doesn’t do it for me! :-(

I long for the days I can run in shorts. Maybe in 3 months. . .maybe.

Brooke does so well with travel and she’s so cute! Love her spring wardrobe!

Glad you running is back to good

Brooke is such an adorable little traveler!

I wish it was shorts running weather here! I was excited to only wear two layers to run on Saturday instead of three.

Arizona sounds like a blast! And go karts! That rocks!
