Forced to continue the vacation

May 13, 2012

First and most importantly Happy Mother’s Day to my amazing mother, grandma, mother in law, sissy and all of you incredible mothers out there! So far I have worked really hard to be a great mother by sleeping 14 hours a day and feeding her all the donuts she wants, hard work.

What a bummer….all of the flights are full today so we are forced to extend our vacation and go home tomorrow;) billy is taking me to all of his favorite spots in San Francisco.

Here’s our Saturday in pictures!!!

Happy Mother’s Day!
I’ve already started out this day with a delicious breakfast at The Corner Bakery.

I used to visit San Francisco all the time. I adored Fisherman’s Wharf. The shrimp and crab cocktail was delicious.

Really wish you were craving chocolate because the Ghiradelli Chocolate Factory is there. I’ll continue to eat a portion of chocolate for you until you can enjoy it once again.

omg!! I was just looking up info. about the chocolate milk sponsorship and came upon this youtube video.. http://youtu.be/xfI90SyQNoY and as I started watching it… I saw you in it!!! How crazy! Did you win a sponsorship from them? That’ so exciting! I’m thinking of submitting a video for it and getting my students to vote every day. But school ends soon:( So I’m not sure if I would get enough votes. But anyways, how cool to see you!! You’re famous:)

What a fun and unexpected fun time! When you are there how about the water front in San Fran ofcourse to eat clam chowder served in the best sour dough bowl, drive down Lombard Street (the crookedest(is that a word)in the world), if you have time to take the ferry to Sausalito, a very cute little town (http://goldengateferry.org/schedules/Sausalito.php) here is a link for the schedule.

Hope you have fun:)

Happy Mother’s Day! Ghirardelli Chocolates is great, they have the best hot chocolate with real whip cream. Boudin Bakery, has the best sour dough bread. Sorry it is all about the food for me on vacations. Have fun.

Gelateria Naia in San Francisco. Best. Gelato. Ever. Seriously…run, don’t walk!
Also, try to get to the Sports Basement in the Presidio by Chrissy Field. You will be amazed!

Last sporting event I went to was my daughter’s softball game yesterday. She got game MVP for the second time this season!
