Dinner with Mer and Sweat with Bike

After school I had two options:

1.  Come home, sit on my couch and eat the remaining doughnuts from the previous day while trying to annoy Billy as he was working on homework.

2.  Get on the spin bike with my favorite gymnastics team drama to keep me company.  Placing an industrial size fan 6 inches in front of your face is always a good idea.  When I am teaching a spin class I like to do a million different things but when it is just me I love to keep it simple with 5 minute intervals of hills.  Each minute I add tension….first 1/2 in the saddle, 2nd half out of the saddle.

I have to wear headphones when I watch shows like Make It or Break It so that Billy doesn’t think less of me.

Enter a wardrobe change and before I knew it I was standing in front of Heaven.  A fresh, clean, fully stocked salad bar in which I could spend my precious time constructing the perfect dinner.

DSC 0391

My cutest grandma (we all call her Mer) wanted to take Billy and I out to dinner last night.  She said I could choose where to go which always means Pizza Factory.

Billy now runs and orders the salad bar, and they say you can’t change people muhahahaha.

My cutest Mer moved to Utah (from Cali) 6 years ago and it has been the best to have her so close.  She was telling us about some of her and my late Grandpa’s cute stories together.  My favorite was when he asked her while they were grocery shopping (this is long after they were married) if she had ever been kissed in the frozen food aisle and she said no and so he planted a big kiss on her:)

Best dinner ever.  Thanks Mer!

Because I can’t leave you this morning without something random (you might think I was sick or something), I finally found a doughnut that I would not like.  This is the only one though, feel free to send me any other type, size or flavor.

Okay, I am sorry but I have to add just one more really interesting food that I found, anyone care to try it?

Today is the day we find out the sex.  Some people have asked what I think it is and currently I am thinking it is a boy even though I have had a trillion dreams that it is a girl.  Billy also thinks it is a boy.  I will put it on the blog asap today, my brothers did make me promise that I would actually call them so that they don’t find out by reading about it:)

What is the most exciting part about YOUR day today?

Do you have a different name for your grandma besides grandma?  Does your grandma live close?

What is a MUST ingredient on your salad?

If you have traveled abroad what is the strangest thing that you have eaten or seen other people eat?  If you live outside of the US what is one of the strangest things that you have tried or seen people in the US eat?

Oh my heavens, I love that frozen food aisle story!

– Most exciting part of my day today? Eek! I’d say having my first night off in over a week. I’m going to cook dinner and kick my feet up. :)
– I call my grandma “grandma” (boring) or “grams!!!!!” if I’m feeling spunky. She calls me “Anthony” so I have free reign to be spunky.
– CHEESE.
– The strangest thing I ever ate was blood pudding (also called black pudding) in Ireland. Don’t even Google it. You’ll gag.

Have a great day!

Reply

FIRST NIGHT OFF?!?!? Enjoy every second. Yep, cheese is always a must. Um..blood pudding, GROSS! Hope you have a great day too Alyssa.

Ahhh have fun at the ultrasound!!!! I still remember that day (we didn’t find out the sex) but it was still fun.

Your grandma looks so sweet! I still get a kick out of those breadsticks.

The most exciting part of my day will be trying to clean w/a toddler underfoot–I lead a wild life;-)

Reply

Ha, your life is out of control. I am looking forward to your lifestyle:) You need to have one of these breadsticks, you would love them!

Reply

Bleck that donut sounds disgusting!!!

I can’t wait to hear the news about the sex!!! You must tell us all immediately … after all, we’re all your closest friends and family, right??!! ;)

Reply

Thanks so much Kristen and YES you are my closest friends!

Reply

I just used to call my grandma “gram”, like a graham cracker haha. Not sure where it came from but its a whole lot easier to say that the full grandma. Yours is so cute by the way!

A MUST ingredient on my salad is some sort of nut, either almonds or walnuts or whatever. Otherwise the texture never seems right for me.

Good luck on your ultrasound! That’s so exciting!

Reply

I agree with the nuts on salad, I love sunflower seeds too! GRAM, that is so fun!

Reply

I’m in Korea now and they have some crazy flavored donuts here! Dunkin Donuts has kimchi donuts and all!!!!

Reply

KIMCHI DONUTS?!?!? No way!!!

Reply

Right?!?! I still haven’t gotten up the nerve to try them though!

Reply

Apparently they sell green tea-flavored Kit Kat in Japan. I love the beverage but I’m not sure how down I am about it in chocolate form ! Apparently sesame flavored ice cream is big in China- I couldn’t manage more than a bite!

Reply

i’ve had the green-tea flavored kit kat, its actually pretty delicious! :)

Reply

Green tea Kit Kat…hmmmmm?!?!

I am SO excited to find out what gender your baby is! either way it’ll be ADORABLE. Am I the only woman who would quite like to have a son as a first child (whever i get around to procreating!) instead of a girl? I sometimes think boys would be easier to raise.

The most exciting part of my day today is probably going to be weights and lots of foam rolling this eve- last night was mile sprint reps and i am TIGHT.

I call my grandma nana and she lives pretty close but due to uni i dont get to see her as much as I’d like. Shes super modern, incredibly intelligent and so much fun. Shes also sadly the only grandparent I have left!

I really love red pepper in anything and all things!

I live in the UK and I found the sheer SIZE of some American meals absolutely crazeeee! Ive eaten black pudding, haggis (which i dont like), ostrich, shark, squid… Quite a lot of strange stuff! Shark and squid are both nice but im a seafood fan so it isnt surprising!

Reply

I have heard that boys are easier to raise too. YAY for weights and rolling and great job on your mile sprints. Yep, we eat a lot of food over here!

Reply

Forgot to say as well that I also love Make It or Break It- how sad is the current story arc about KP?!?!

Now just for someone to make one about runners…

Reply

That pizza and donut sounds awful!

I can’t wait to find out what you’re having!

The most exciting part of my day is that I’m taking a half day to hang out with my friend this afternoon. I love having a flexible schedule!

Reply

HALF DAY!! That is the best, hope you have a blast with your friend today!

Reply

I find out if I get in NYC marathon today, I ran it last year so I am not sure I will get in this year.

We just call them grandma. Nothing different really.

Main ingredient is cottage cheese. Always!

When I was in China we ate Ox Liver and Duck feet and many other nasty things I try not to remember. No my favorite food there that is for sure.

Yay!! Can’t wait to hear!!!

Reply

AHHHH I hope you get in so so bad. Best marathon in the world. DUCK FEET and OX LIVER…WOW! I love you for saying cottage cheese:)

Reply

My day is going to be extremely boring compared to yours! Work and Zumba :)
Both sets of my grandparents live in England. We are very very close and I miss them like crazy. I’m so happy we have Skype, email and phones. I always cry like a baby when I have to say goodbye to them after visiting.

Reply

ZUMBA….fun! Good thing for Skype. How often do you get to visit them?

Reply

the most exciting part of my day today was coming into the office for the first time since the marathon on sunday (i was on a course in germany sunday-tuesday) and telling my co-workers that i PR’d. WOOHOO!!!!

hands down the weirdest (to me) food i’ve seen americans eat is “winter salad” (green and red jello, marshmallows and lettuce, i think?) with thanksgiving dinner (turkey, gravy etc). hands down, the most unforgettable and repellant thing i have ever seen! although I also ate guinea pig in peru which was pretty grim too!

eeek how exciting finding out the sex!! I’m sure it will be amazing, whatever it is!

Reply

AHHH isn’t that the best? I love telling my co-workers about that stuff too! I need an update on your blog about your marathon, congrats on the PR! Lettuce in jello, okay that is way too weird ha!

Reply

Nana and Memma. Both live about 3 hours away! Glad yours moved into your state so ya’ll can hang out more!

The best part of my day has just happened. I just got home from work, kissed my hunny good morning, and am now sitting on the couch ready to saw some logs while the sun comes up.

Reply

I love your names for your grandma! Hope you get a good nap/sleep in:)

Reply

I love Make it or Break It! I’ve watched all the episodes on Netflix though so they need to put up the new ones asap!

Reply

It really is so addicting. Are you watching this season on Hulu?

Reply

144Hey there! Someone in my Facebook group shared this wetsibe with us so I came to take a look. I’m definitely loving the information. I’m bookmarking and will be tweeting this to my followers! Great blog and brilliant style and design.

Reply

I live in Japan right now and those foods totally fit in! They love all desserts flavored with non dessert flavors. Tuna and potato ice cream, red bean sno cones, donuts filled with bean paste or octopus, yuck! Also, they love to put mayo, corn….on pizza.

Reply

You live in Japan right now..that is so awesome! Okay, the ice cream made me a little sick to think about! I guess I have to try it before I judge it:) Have an amazing day Kristie.

Reply

I am so excited for you!!! We did not find out with our first baby and found out with the second two. I was 100% sure by the third that it was a boy, and I was right. There is nothing like a baby boy. but there’s also nothing like a baby girl;)
We call one of my grandma’s ‘nana’. And it’s nice having her pretty close by.
Avocado’s are a must for me right now for anything! I can’t get enough.
Good luck at your appt today!!! Hope everything is healthy, happy and perfect:)

Reply

Thanks so much Katie! I don’t know how you waited to find out for your first one! I agree with the avocado’s!! Hope you have an amazing day.

Reply

I am so excited for you to find out the sex of the baby! That’s such a fun doctor’s appointment.
I love that you use headphones for Make it or Break it. I use headphones when I watch YouTube beauty videos so that my hubby doesn’t think I’m weird. Lol!

I didn’t think there could ever be a bad donut but that one looks so gross!

Finally, you and your Mer are so cute!

Reply

Thanks so much Heather, you are the best. HAHAH good to know I am not the only ashamed of what they watch girl and so they wear their head phones:)

Reply

Good luck today!!!

Reply

Thanks so much Robin!

Reply

The ultrasound!! Yeah! It’s so exciting to see your little one :) Drink a non-diet pop and eat a candy bar right before you go in – that always got my little ones moving so we could get a good “show” from them. And that pizza….I didn’t think there was a pizza that I would turn down….but I have now found it. My in-laws live in Hawaii, and there is no end to the weird food! My husband’s extended family took us to a chop-suey restaurant one time and I think I ate edamame. And that was it! (Well, I did try one bite of everything to be polite, but when we got back to our hotel room, we ordered pizza!)

Reply

That is a great idea, can’t wait to get the little one moving around:) Hawaii really does have some interesting food. HAHAHAH I would have gone back and ordered pizza too:)

Reply

So funny you posted about the foods you won’t eat because I used to live in Japan… and now currently live in China… and yes… I’ve tried both the pork floss & seaweed doughnut… as well as the mayo… corn & everything under the sun pizza in Japan. Let me just say… Japanese mayo tastes better than American mayo… it is sweeter… and the doughnut is not bad :)

Reply

YOU’VE TRIED BOTH!!! That is awesome that you live in China, wow! I actually think I might like the pizza a tiny bit ha. I need to try Japanese mayo!

Reply

You need to come to Austin, TX immediately — if not for the Lance Armstrong and Sandra Bullock sightings then for the donuts! Texas has a huge history of German and Polish immigration so there is an obsession with donuts. And in Austin we have a foodtruck called Gordough’s where you can either custom make your own perfect donut or choose from one of theirs. They have crazy ones with fried chicken and bacon on top, but my favorite has a cream filling, cream cheese frosting, GRILLED BANANAS, and brown sugar on top. Heaven.

Reply

Okay, I am going to buy my plane tickets today to get a Gordough’s donut…they are seriously making me drool with that description!

Reply

So excited for you guys!!
We are going to a Elton John concert tonight :)
My Grandma lives in another town but only about 20 minutes away.
Avocados! I am obsessed right now.

Lindsey, have a blast at the concert tonight and take tons of pictures! I am definitely obsessed with avocados too!

Thanks and I will :)

Reply

you two are adorable. I would love to have dinner with you both. and yes, i’d probably eat that donut. sounds interesting!

You are so invited on the next date with us:)

I call my grandmas Nana and Omi. Oma is ‘grandma’ in German but in my family when we say ‘Oma’ we’re referring to my great grandma so we had to change it a little for my grandma.

The most exciting part of my day is all day because it is my BIRTHDAY! One of my best friends is due in a week and I’m hoping she has her baby early, as in today, so that we can have joint birthday parties at Chuck E. Cheese in the future.

I cannot wait to find out what you are having! I am creepy and remember what time your appointment is and I will be playing soccer around that time. I might have to run off the field to check your blog!

Reply

I loved learning about how you call your grandma Omi! HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I hope you have the best day ever and eat lots of cake. Chuck E. Cheese bday parties are the best:) THink about me when you are playing socceer…you are adorable.

The most exciting thing about my day was probably my 10km hill run today along the cliffs of the beach! Then activating my daily mile account :).

We all had the day off work today in Australia go honor the soldiers.
When I went to Bali they had dog and cat meat.. I thought that was weird ! Also they had really bizarre flavours of things like bacon noodles and BBQ and pork packet soup.

I’m Travelling to new York & Cali in 2 months in excited to see what they eat over there …!!!
Salad needs spinach leaves … It cannot be ice berg lettuce they’d sandwich lettuce only !

Reply

GREAT RUN TODAY BROOKE! That sounds like a beautiful and challenging run. How about you travel to Utah too:) DOG MEAT, I seriously can’t imagine.

Reply

I can’t wait to hear what ya’ll are having!! Feeling almost as anxious as when my best friends were waiting to hear what theirs were! Welcome to being a daily part of my life haha!

I’ve never been out of the country to eat crazy things, but alligator is about the strangest thing I’ve eaten. The first time I tried it, I had to drowned it in ketchup bc I kept seeing this thing swim around in nasty water. I’m weird. Second time, it was cooked differently and served with a sour sauce and was amazing!

Reply

You make me so happy….I LOVE having you for a friend and I love that you are so anxious for me:) ALLIGATOR!!! AHHHHHH!!!! Have an amazing day Nicole.

Reply

Reply

Thank you so much Jamie!! AHHHH You are in your thesis defense right now, hope it is going amazing!

http://craverealburgers.com/burgers/ Please check out the luther burger. Yes, it is a burger in between two donuts instead of buns.
“Luther bacon, cheddar, egg and onion with 2 glazed donuts as the bun”

Reply

OH MY GOODNESS!!! That is out of control, sounds like a heart attack. The PB and bacon one made me a little sick thinking about too. How do people eat that ha!

Reply

My husband eats a bacon, banana, and avocado pizza in South Africa. It’s like a normal combo…they even have it on the menu! I can’t even think about warm, cooked banana….soo gross.

I ate alligator sausage in New Orleans

We call my grandma “the Hop”..

Reply

The hop…that is so fun, is there a story behind it? Yeah…I could not do the cooked banana either!

Reply

I HAVE to have tomatoes on my salad! if there r no tomatoes i cant eat salad haha
i have never lived near either of my grandmas so i never was able to get really close to either of them, i was pretty close with my great grandma though, she was so sweet and hardly spoke any english! haha I am close with torrances grandma though!
Yay cant wait to find out if you are having a girl or a boy!

Can we talk about Make it or Break it?! I am obsessed and am the saddest they are ending the show in 3 weeks! What?!? How are we supposed to follow them to their olympic dreams?!?!?!?

So excited for you to find out the sex of your baby!!!! Can’t wait to hear what it is!!!

Reply

I had no idea there was only 3 more weeks…I am going to protest….BOOOOOOOO!!!!

Reply

YAY for gender day! i can’t wait to hear!

i also have to hide my make it or break it. michael laughs at me the whole time so i have to use my headphones and turn the computer screen away from him. however, i do think it’s extra cheesy this season?? and i heard that there are only 2 more episodes until the series finale?? crazy sauce if you ask me.

Reply

WHAT!?!?!?! 2 more episodes, I had no idea…I am about to start crying!

Reply

Ok that pizza in Japan just sounds awful. A crust stuffed with shrimp? To each his own I suppose!

Have SO much fun today finding out the sex. SUCH a fun day for Brandon and I right before Christmas. I will never forget the moment the tech said “GIRL!” Either way. . . your life will be changed forever!

I traveled to Uganda, Africa and ate cow stomach. Disgusting but we had to be prepared for what we might be served in the villages. (went on a youth group trip in HS).

Reply

Thanks so much Brittnie!! COW STOMACH, oh my goodness…I can’t even imagine!

Reply

Exciting today? I’m donating blood. I’m not totally pumped about the act iself, but I’ve been procrastinating about making an appointment so I’m glad I finally did it. Heading there after work … and it’s worth it because I’ll go get ice cream after to “replenish my blood sugar” ;)

I would NOT eat that pizza or doughnut. Bleck.

Reply

Good for you! That is awesome and you MUST get ice cream after….otherwise you will faint.

Reply

My Grandparents live about 10 minutes away from me and they are so good to me! I can’t wait to find out the sex of the baby! It is going to be an exciting day for you!! Do we really have to wait until tomorrow for you to tell us??

Reply

10 minutes away, that is SO SO AWESOME!! No, I will totally tell you today but I have to call all my family first ha! Have an amazing day!

Reply

The most exciting part about my day is that I have my first big girl job interview this afternoon!! Fingers crossed I actually get it :)

I call my grandma grandma because I’ve only ever had one so there was no need to call her anything different. She’s never lived close to me until I came to college in Ohio. Now she is only about 45 minutes away instead of 10 hours!

Other than dressing, my must have salad ingredient is currently banana peppers. nomnomnom

Please make your baby gender announcement like that old commercial: wehadababyitsaboy :) Wow…that commercial really did come on a looong time ago. Why do I still remember that?

Reply

BAHAHAH I loved that commercial ha. Good luck at your job interview…let me know how it goes, you’ve got this!

Reply

Today I’m picking up my race packet for the half marathon I’m running on Saturday! I’m also going out to dinner with my boyfriend!
I must have in a salad is something crunchy. Croutons, peanuts, etc, just something that adds some crunch to each bite!
I can’t wait to hear the sex of your babyyyy!!!

Reply

HEY GORGEOUS!!! Ahhhhh I am so stoked for your 1/2, you are going to rock it. Have a blast at dinner too, you have an exciting day. SO HAPPY YOU LOVED the blood orange flavor, so so good!

I don’t comment enough… I just wanted to say that you always make me smile Janae :) Love your blog!

I call my grandma “amma” – the icelandic word for grandma.

Reply

Helga! Thank you so much for your comment!! AMMA….I love it!

Reply

How adorable is she!! :) I love to hear stories like that! I called my dad’s mom, Granny. I called my mom’s mom, Nannie. Miss them both.

Chicken is a must in every salad I have!

When I went to Kazakhstan, we had horse meat (made like summer sausage) and cow tongue in a beet salad. Both were yummy! They also eat their yogurt warm and drink their milk warm. I did not partake in that. :) It was a great experience though!!

Reply

I am SOO excited to find out if it’s a boy or a girl!!! :)

Reply

I am SOO excited to find out if it’s a boy or a girl!!! Is it weird that I am that excited? I hope not. :)

Reply

I’ve seen a lot of weird foods, but I think the grossest local delicacy I’ve heard of is guinea pigs in Peru. EUUUWWWW.

My grandma is ‘grandmother’ because she is the most proper southern belle alive and not exactly the cute and cuddly type…showing too much emotion might give her wrinkles! Not even joking.

Reply

How exciting!!! Can’t wait to hear if you’re having a boy or girl!!!! You’re so adorable and I couldn’t be happier for you! :)

Reply

what did you think about Payson telling on Lauren?

Reply

I have mixed feelings! I don’t know what I would have done in the situation but if for the show I am mad that she did. I actually really like Payson and wanted her to make it. What did you think?

Reply

I have mxed feeling too! in one way I’m happy payson spoke up bc lauren could have gotten hurt, but at the same time I’m sad that Lauren isn’t going to make it to the Olympics:( I wanted all the rock girls to go!

I heard that there is a new pizza with the crust stuffed with mini burgers. They are trying to top the UK’s crust stuffed with hot dogs. So gross!

I am soooo excited to hear what you guys find out today!!!! I know we don’t “know” each other, but its been great following your journey into parenthood!!

Love the frozen food story ;)

That pizza makes me want to vom, and so does the doughnut. I am not a huge doughnut fan, but you had me craving one the other day so I went to the store over lunch and bought one! Haha you sure have an impact on us Janae!

Reply

I love Make it or Break it…. haha guilty pleasure of a mid-twenty something. You make me feel lazy though… maybe I should do something exercise related while watching it. haha. I’m sad there are only a few episodes left of the series.

Your grammy is so cute! You’re so lucky to be able to spend time with her and live so close!

Good luck today!! I bet you must be just ecstatic.

When I studied abroad in South Korea we ordered a pizza one night and were shocked to find that it had a mayo sauce and was topped with white sweet potato. Sounds similiar to what you posted. It was interesting, but I wouldn’t order it again. We also ate gelatinous tree bark on that trip….and yes, it was as terrible as it sounds.

Reply

Love your cute lil grandma! I CAN’T wait to find out what the baby is!!! Boy or girl, that child will be blessed, loved, and obvi a superstar runner :) Yay!!

How cute your grandparents must have been?
The most exciting part of my day is this Subway I am eating right now. 3.99 turkey combo day! Oh, and Modern Family and Revenge to look forward to tonight!
My grandmother passed away about 10 years ago. We called her grandmama (is that a Southern thing?).
I usually MUST have cheese on my salad.
The strangest thing I’ve ever seen anyone eat is haggis in Scotland. I wouldn’t try it though!

Reply

Those breadsticks look so tasty! Some of the street vendors in Thailand were cooking up pretty nasty stuff. At times I felt like gagging from the awful smells. Needless to say, I didn’t try any of that stuff!

Reply

Ahh! I can’t wait for you! I can’t imagine what the anticipation must be like!! We cal my grandma Mimi- she’s a sweetie! Mer is so cute!!!

I love candied nuts on my salad!! Not the healthiest option- but oh so delicious.

I lived in Italy for a few months, and pretty much everything they eat there is absolutely delicious… I seriously can’t think of one thing that I didn’t enjoy!!

Well since we live in China and travel a lot around Asia I can give you some good examples of weird food;-)
– duck tongue China
– green tea ice cream (I actually tried it, it tastes like feet) and all sorts of baking goods with green tea in it Asia in general
– red bean pie at Mc Donalds Asia
– donuts with seaweed Asia in general
– eyeball fish soup China
– eating dogs (Korea) – every time I see I want to scream and yell how wrong it is, but it’s just their culture
– shirako -the male genitalia of fish, a sack that contains its seminal fluid (ewwww) – Japan
– fried grasshoppers – popular dish in Japan
– sadly dolphin ends up in a supermarket shelves…(Japan)
– fermented eggs – China
– stinky tofu – it’s the worst smell of all bad smells – it’s literally like you put gazillion of dirty socks in a small room. Yeah, and now eat it! – China

I can go on and on – China has definitely the weirdest selection of foods!

Can’t wait to hear about the gender!!!!!!!!

Reply

HOLY COW!!! The shirako made me a little sick and I can’t believe dolphin is sold in Japan. WOW! Thanks for sharing with me.
Hope you are having an amazing day and I can’t wait to tell you the gender!

My grandma is my favourite relative :) Luckily she lives nearby so I can visit her often (and of course eat delicious foods she has made for me).

My salad isn’t perfect without chevre in it. Also cashew nuts are my favourites!

I’ve been travelling in China and Thailand at last winter and I didn’t always know what food that I ate included. I guess one of the strangest was the pile of mushrooms surrounded by pig’s stomach.

Reply

yayayay! Can’t wait to learn if it’s a boy or girl hungry runner :)

I don’t think I would like the doughnut or that pizza very much

Reply

Ahhh I can’t wait to find out what you are having!

A must ingredient has to be some sort of crunch – sunflower seeds, croutons or nuts – I like texture!

When I was in Ecuador they were eating guinea pig and they would sell it roadside. It was too weird for me because I had a guinea pig as a kid!

Reply

The description of that pizza made me vomit a little in my mouth. Disgusting. Then again, I’m sure some of my latest food cravings would make some people feel sick too :)

Have fun at the ultrasound – fingers crossed the little one cooperates!

Reply

My guess is a girl for two reasons:
Your (even more substantial) sugar cravings
and the fact that you are dreaming about her being a girl.
I was the same way..sure I was having a boy, but dreamt of a girl, and ate dozens of snickerdoodle cookies throughout my pgncy. All highly scientific reasons, but there you have it. ;0

I love make it or break it. Seriously. I’m so happy to find out other adults watch it.

Secret: my husband loves it more than I do. Its weird and also I appreciate it very much.

That frozen food aisle kiss is the cutest thing ever. I called my grandmother Mamaw, but she passed away when I was 21. I never knew my other grandmother (she passed when my mom was only 19), but my older cousins called her Mia, which I love.

I think the most exciting part of my day will be finding out the sex of your baby! If it’s a girl, I’m calling her Janilly no matter what you actually name her. :)

You got me addicted to make it or break it!! I’ve even watched it at the gym while on the elliptical, periodically checking to see who’s behind me and if they can see what I’m watching : ) I’m about to go workout, and sadly, I’m more excited about being able to watch more episodes than i am about the actual workout : )

Believe it or not, being at work is the most exciting bit of my day! I was off sick on Monday and Tuesday, then yesterday was a public holiday. getting sooo sick of my own company and excited to be out of the house!

My grandma is just grandma! My dad’s mum (who died when I was 8) I called gran.. but that’s not very exciting either haha. My living grandma lives in England, so I very rarely see her but she’s the cutest little thing :)

To me, salads must include: a type of nut, a type of fruit, a type of protein (cheese, egg, chicken, meat, whatever). Lately, that’s been brazil nuts, dried cranberries + dried mango, and cottage cheese :)

I’ve only traveled to England (from Australia), and to the US when I was a really little kid, which I barely remember. Both of them are pretty similar, so no really big food surprises there. Fingers crossed I’ll be coming to the states later in the year, so will be sure to take notes and report back on what weirds me out ;)
