Thursday night is a sacred night in our home. Date night cannot be interrupted. We started date night with an episode of Wheel of Fortune….mark my words, I will be on that show someday and you better all tune in. I may not be able to spell or write complete sentences but I am sure good at word games. Next on the agenda was FOOD.
Billy has become ridiculously good at finding the best groupons for us to use on our date night and last night we hit up Sammy’s. The groupon was $26 worth of food for $12.
Sammy’s is a really chill restaurant, there are a trillion photos of customers everywhere with every high schooler within 25 miles phone number written on the walls.
It took me 32 minutes to decide what I wanted…a burger or chicken strips?!?! Because I am such a good problem solver I decided to get a big chicken strip in a burger.
My fried chicken burger had a hot buffalo sauce on it and it was incredible, my mouth was on fire afterwards. Billy had a burger with pineapple, a fried egg, beats and fry sauce. He had cheese fries and I had my beloved onion rings. They say that eating large amounts of fried foods make you a happier pregnant woman, they are right, it worked.

They actually put a piece of pie or a full cupcake INTO the shake and mix it! Who thinks of things like this….oh yeah, people like me that love to see how much sugar can fit into a 20 ounce cup. Billy and I were boring and stuck with the classics. Snickers for me and cookie dough for him.
Ice cream is best when taken home to eat on your coach with your slippers and season 5 of Scrubs.
They don’t mess around with giving you more than enough toppings in their shakes.
If you could be on one game show, what would it be? Wheel of Fortune, The Price is Right, Press Your Luck, Jeopardy, Name that Tune, Double Dare, Pyramid, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Let’s Make a Deal (if you can’t tell, I really like game shows).
-Price is Right for me, I would rock Plinko. Wheel of Fortune is my second pick.
