Ahhhhh!!! Congratulations girl!! I’m SO excited for you guys! Haha I know I’ve never actually met you but I’ve been reading your blog for over a year and I feel like we’re friends

I’m really looking forward to all the preggo-running posts and tips! My best friend had a baby this past summer and ran throughout her pregnancy – and she swears that it kept her super healthy during her pregnancy. She got sick ONCE the whole time and had a quick and relatively easy labour, and she credits a lot of it to staying so active. She ran 6km 2 days before the baby was born!

Best wishes to you & Billy. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed reading about all your adventures and escapades, and I’m really looking forward to this one!

That’s fantastic, you must be thrilled. I can’t wait to follow your pregnancy, while you continue to run. At the moment, I’m 27 weeks pregnant. I ran an ultra marathon when I was about 5 weeks pregnant and just ran a half marathon. I can tell you, it slows you down, but don’t let it stop you. Congrats again!

Oh my gosh!! I literally had to hold back tears when I saw that picture! I can’t believe how emotional that made me and we’ve never even met! I just had a thought, what if you started to hate everything that you love eating while you’re pregnant? It would be so weird not seeing candy and ice cream on the blog for the next few months.

Hi Janae!
I have blog-stalked you for forever now (creepy, I know), but never actually left you a response…so what better time to start! Just wanted to say congrats! As everyone else has said, you guys will CLEARLY be amazing parents- that will be one lucky bebe. Anyhow, I am NO WHERE near the runner that you are, but I do really believe that running will make you a better mama; you will be happier, less stressed and a great example to your kiddo. I ran throughout both my pregnancies (until the docs told me to call it quits) and was surprised by how rather quickly my fitness came back after the baby was born. With our second, I actually got in to Boston six months after…if IIIII can do that, you will be qualifying for the Olympics in that amount of time! My only piece of advice is most “baby stuff” is unnecessary, but the one thing that is a must? A BOB stroller! Start saving now and it will be worth every penny:) Anyhow, that was way too long for a first comment, but congrats and enjoy every minute of it!
