Yep, I am doing this 2 months after all of you cool bloggers did it but I am from Utah and we don’t usually get the trends for a few years after the East Coast.  Just Kidding Utah, you know I will always love you forever.  Thanks Monica for tagging me to share with you different links that go along with different categories…..next time I won’t take forever to do it:)

MOST BEAUTIFUL:  I have a few for this one but FOR THE LOVE OF RUNNING, and of course our wedding posts HERE and HERE, and ANNIVERSARY post.

Photo 19

MOST POPULAR:  The Weight Question.  A post about the difference between the old me and the new me and overcoming disordered eating.

Wedding 6496

MOST CONTROVERSIAL:  I wouldn’t necessarily call it controversial but it is a topic that isn’t discussed very often on running blogs even though it can be VERY DANGEROUS and should be talked about.  Through different injuries I learned the importance of making sure you have enough body fat to keep your period on my post RUNNING AND PERIODS.

SURPRISE SUCCESS: I Have Literally Gone Insane.  I guess you guys like to read about my craziness like when I ran a marathon on a treadmill.

NOT ENOUGH ATTENTION:  TRIBUTE TO CANDY. Hello, a post dedicated to candy is pretty awesome, I think.

MOST PROUD: OPTIMISM WHILE INJURED.

I LINK WHOEVER HASN’T DONE 7 LINKS YET!!!!

PS Don’t forget to check out the TRAINING PAGE for updates.

something im most proud of this year is taking a HUGE leap of faith and trusting the Lord with ending a 3 year relationship. it was so hard and painful, but God is so faithful and He pulled me through and blessed it so much. HE IS SO GOOD!
current candy- does dark chocolate count!? :0

I always read your blog but never comment:p BUT…when you asked about our latest awesome run…I actually had something worth commenting about:D My big brother and I went on a run together and didn’t get a mile in a half in before typhoon weather attacked us lol. (Japan weather: ) We had to turn back but it was amazing! It rained so much it felt like we were swimming. hehe The only sad part was having to cut our run short and that due to the water damage, my ipod has since passed and left me in a not so good place:(

I love your blog! :) So much! I loved all of these posts! I know I don’t comment enough, but it’s because I read through Google Reader, which doesn’t allow. As fr as I know, at least, but then I’m like 80% retarded… haha.

Girl, I love ya. I’ve only been reading for a couple of months, so I’m so glad that I was able to see this post and look back on some of your old posts. I especially loved “The weight question.” It’s always interesting to hear about a person’s history with self-esteem, weight, food, etc, because it seems like so many of us (especially women) have struggled with those same issues at some point in our lives. Thanks so much for sharing!! :) You’re the best!

Yah! Glad you did it :) I love seeing these posts!

Just ran 6.75 miles today in the heat, it was killer.

I’m most proud that my husband and I have taken big risks professionally/personally this year, given up everything, started over somewhere new to pursue our dreams/goals! I am happy we didn’t settle for “pretty good”!

ps… that pic of you with your bouquet is gorgeous!!

My favorite current candy are Skittles! Yum :) Usually I’m more of a chocolate fan, but not right now.

I am obsessed with Jelly Belly and sour keys right now, I have a huge jass bag a work that is almost gone….;)

The 7 links thing is SO cool. And can I just say you’re eyes in that picture look freaking aweosme and gorgeous!?! The thing that I am most proud of this year is recognizing and actively trying to fix my idea of food/disordered thinking of food. Along with running !! But, I’m happy that I’m starting to realize that I was starving my body and I’m trying to change it! My awesome run was yesterday, a 10 miler. whoooo! Have a great night!!!

Isn’t it awesome when you finally have clarity on this. 10 miles. Whoo hoo…….no turning back girl. Be proud.

Ahhh milk duds, yum!!!

Most proud…. I actually ran my first half marathon and finished despite improper training on the same day I received my Master’s degree!! Clearly I didn’t attend graduation! ;-)

I haven’t had any awesome runs lately except that I am running in extreme heat so I guess all my runs are awesome! Up to 4.5 now! Woot Woot!!!

I just ran a half marathon in Providence this past weekend which was a solid run! It was a lot of fun and it reminded me why I love racing!

how fun! guess i was out of the blogging community long enough to not know about the 7 links lol… love your smile girl! :)

My most proud would have to be running my first 5K this past October. There were a lot of setbacks going on in my life at that point, but I was determined to be an optimist and power through them. Running/the 5K helped a LOT. (PS–LOVED the optimism post. In fact, I put it in my favorites to go back and look at when I need it.)

My run yesterday was awesome, but unexpected. I got POURED on about 2 1/2 miles from home, but ended up running my furthest distance ever without walking, and one of my fastest paces. My shoes are STILL wet…

Don’t know if it counts as candy, but I am currently obsessed with cherry yogurt covered pretzels…it’s not even funny. :)

marathon on the treadmill? freaking awesome!!
i have to tell you that i ADORE utah – well, moab, anyway. best running of my life was there. i made up my own marathon route, made my own “race shirt” – i have nothing but LOVE for moab!
i am proud for taking charge of my life and making it go in the direction i want it to. things are coming together! :)

Being more present, then i have ever been, in the journey of my own life.

Candy: white chocolate chips, at least for the past 3 weeks. it’ll change here any moment, food is like fads for me.

I just went and read your wedding posts. Girl, you looked stunning! gorgeous, gorgeous pics :)

Love all your 7 links :) I think the tribute to candy was awesome! I am digging this Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Giant Chocolate Bar that I found at Hershey Park last weekend. It’s a hershey bar filled with reeses peanut butter in giant size. LOVE!

I ran 18 miles on Saturday. It was my longest run EVER. And I also took my first ice bath ever on Saturday. I feel like a real runner now. Hee!

I stopped at CVS during my 18 miler yesterday and bought the Berry flavored Skittles in the purple package. Yum! They hit the spot and I carried on.

I love reading your old posts. :) I remember all of those. And I remember being SHOCKED when I read your insane post about the marathon on the treadmill. You’re awesome. :) Duh.

Woooo g-frand I am spending all night looking at the wedding ones!!! Idk how I missed those. I haven’t run in foooorevs BUT I went to 90 minute endurance spin tonight! It was killlllahhh! <3

OMG I can’t wait to go back and read all of these from before I found your blog!!

Most proud of this past year: I graduated college and got into grad school! woot!

Last awesome run: ooh it was awhile ago. before I got injured, back in early July I ran a 10k time trial on the trail near my house in 39:55 – fastest 10k I’ve ever run! too bad it wasn’t in an actual race lol, but I def felt like a badass for the rest of the day anyways :-P

Favorite candy….. Take Five! pretzels, peanut butter, caramel chocolate, all in one package. ohh yeah!

Reply

oh i love this! thanks because i found you after most of these were originally written so i love going back and reading them…gotta say the crazy marathon treadmill run has got to be my top pick!

thing i’m most proud of this year was moving down to CA…big change for me but i’m happy that i did it. :)

I love the photo of running in the snow. I would probably have worn pants. And then I would’ve been too hot. For a minute. I have the hardest time figuring out what to wear!

That (wedding?) photo is great as well!

Reply

LOVE all of your links! I just went through and read ones I hadn’t already seen. You are fabulous! And damn girl, your eyes in that picture are so gorgeous :)

Reply

ummmmm thank you for reminding me that I need to do my 7 links! I was sooo honored to be tagged, and I still haven’t done it. Ugh.

BTW, I LOVED your post on candy and thought it was brilliant ;-)

I had a great run on Summer Streets in NYC this past Saturday (where they open up Park Ave. to runners and bikers) but now my foot is killin’ me so I think the body is trying to tell me I’m not quite ready to run the mileage I want to run :-(

Fave current candy – Pretzel M&M’s – the best of all worlds.

Since starting running in April, I have finally found a consistent exercise regime that works for me without me hating it or feeling overly fatigued.

I ran 2.5 miles today at 9:04 average pace. Nothing compared to a crazy awesome runner like you but I have to start somewhere! It was on the treadmill because I need to be able to control terrain/incline/pace now since I’m still recovering from injuries :/ Can’t wait to recover and get a Garmin so I can run outside on a river/sea side trail near my house!

I can’t choose! But Hershey’s chocolate is always winner, as are jellybeans and Twizzlers.

Reply

Today’s workout was a warm-up and cool-down for a mile. In between was 2, 1600’s at 8:36 with an 800m recovery. I have never done this before and it was actually fun!!

Reply

favorite current candy? Milky ways have made their way back into my heart, but more surprisingly – favorite current cookie is biscotti! what? something without chocolate in it?

best run lately? saturday’s 19.5 felt awesome!

I’m pretty proud of my five miler yesterday outside. I’ve been pretty married to my treadmill lately, but after running 25 miles outside this weekend and enjoying it, I think it’s about time I stopped using the TM in good weather.

Reply

haha i must be from utah, too, because i still haven’t done mine ;)
